Welcome!
I am an Assistant Professor in the College of Information at the University of Maryland, College Park.
My research uses survey and computational methodologies to study Americans’ political behaviors. I also study the internal representations of large language models, with a particular focus on understanding and mitigating bias.
Prior to coming to UMD, I was an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Boston College. I have previously been a faculty fellow at Princeton CSDP and a Visiting Scholar at Microsoft Research.
My research has been featured on NBC News, Vox, Politico, the New York Times, and The Atlantic.
